My practise reflects on presence and absence and explores the blurred edges between form, composition, and shape. Through repetitive rituals of intuitive mark-making, layering, and erasure, I create works that feel both fragile and dense--alive with traces of what has been removed. Biomorphic forms emerge and dissolve, shifting between familiarity and abstraction, with colour shaping balance tension and mood.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
