A/Prof Anju Joham is a Senior Research Fellow at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University, Australia where she is the lead of the PCOS research group. She is an endocrinologist at Monash Health, Melbourne, Australia, where she has established a statewide multidisciplinary PCOS Service based at Monash Health. A/Prof Joham was the Deputy Lead of the 2023 international Evidence-Based Guideline for the assessment and management of PCOS. She completed her PhD focusing on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, obesity and insulin resistance. In her postdoctoral studies, A/Prof Joham works with cohort studies with the aim of studying the natural history of PCOS over the reproductive lifespan from adolescence, young adulthood to menopause.
