Explore MUMA's Digital Public Art Guide

Discover the Monash University Collection through our new digital guide, created in partnership with Bloomberg Connects.

Launched in celebration of MUMA’s 50th anniversary in 2025, the MUMA Digital Public Art Guide connects you with the University’s acclaimed public art collection, located across Monash University’s Clayton and Caulfield campuses in Melbourne’s southeast.

Accessible via the free Bloomberg Connects app, the guide invites you to explore Monash University’s public art projects, whether you’re on campus or engaging from afar. These works form part of the Monash University Collection, recognised as one of the most significant collections of contemporary art in Australia.

Explore Public Art Across Two Campuses

At Caulfield campus, the creative heart of the University, you’ll find MUMA (Building F), housed in an award-winning museum designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects. The campus is also home to the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, and features a diverse range of public artworks and a dynamic program of temporary, site-specific commissions in the Ian Potter Sculpture Court. Designed by Simon Ellis Landscape Architects and Fiona Harrisson, the courtyard received an urban design award from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects in 2011.

Clayton campus, Monash’s largest, features the University’s earliest public art commissions. Early highlights include a ceramic mural by John Perceval, stained glass windows by Leonard French and Les Kossatz, and sculptural installations by Clifton Pugh and Clive Murray-White. Recent commissions showcase the work of leading contemporary artists including Kathy Temin, Emily Floyd, Renee So and First Nations artists such as Quandamooka artist Megan Cope and Yolngu artist Gunybi Ganambarr.

Both campuses are open to the public with accessible public transport and amenities including cafes and eateries, making a visit easy and enjoyable.

And now, for the first time, you can explore this remarkable collection from anywhere.
