Clinical and Health Data Outcomes Innovation and Research

Back to research highlights

Monitoring variation in healthcare supports best practice and improves quality of care, and clinical registries are increasingly recognised as credible, effective and feasible tools to perform this function. We lead Australia in clinical registry development and management, with over 30 clinical registries housed in our School.

School registries are supported by our dedicated team of registry specialists with expertise in the full range of knowledge needed to establish and run registries, including funding, data collection, data security, stakeholder management, research governance and ethics, data analysis, communication and translation.

Our research groups:

  • Using data linkage for national surveillance of quality of care for dementia

  • Australian Breast Device Registry launches new phone service for patients

  • Latest Monash Clinical Registries Report
