EFTSL

An Equivalent Full-Time Student Load (EFTSL) is 48 credit points. Most units run for a semester and have a value of six credit points (0.125 EFTSL).

You’ll either make one or two payments of your SSAF per year, depending on the teaching periods you’re enrolled in. If you’re paying your SSAF in two instalments, the amounts may vary based on your study load – this is because we charge the part-time SSAF rate until your study load reaches 0.75EFTSL or above (then you’ll be charged the full-time rate).
