Industry involvement
Previously Dr Iman Azimi co-led a project on development of small molecules and monoclonal antibodies, against a protein critical in the progression of breast cancer – in collaboration with the commercial arms UniQuest and Que Oncology Inc, and world-leading medicinal chemists.
Dr Azimi also worked with Marinova, a Tasmanian-based biotechnology company, in a cellular ageing research.
Currently Dr Azimi provides consultancy to Novotech CRO in preparation of clinical trial applications.
