Females are born with a stockpile of oocytes, and this supply is progressively depleted throughout life due to the natural ageing process. Oocytes may also become prematurely depleted following exposure to DNA damaging anticancer treatments and infection, leading to loss of fertility and early menopause. We are working to understand the regulation of oocyte number and quality in order to improve the health and fertility of women during ageing and following anti-cancer treatment or infection.
We are committed to excellence in research.
We're always interested in collaborating with bright and motivated researchers, clinicians and industry. Whether you want to research, study or partner with us to accelerate our discoveries, find out about the work we do.
