Dr Hao Zhang

Hao Zhang's background is in materials science and engineering. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Monash University in 2014 and subsequently served as a research fellow in Monash's materials department until 2016. In 2016, he embarked on a new professional journey at the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI). With over seven years of experience in innovation commercialization, he held the position of Director in the Overseas Cooperation Department at NICE/JITRI.

During his tenure, Hao Zhang successfully cultivated and expanded a substantial network of innovation resources, collaborating with universities and research institutes across the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on Australia, Singapore, and New Zealand. Under his guidance and support, NICE/JITRI initiated more than 30 cooperative projects with various partners, marking a significant contribution to the institute's mission and objectives.
