Professor Duo Wu

Dr. Duo (Winston) Wu is currently a professor in Engineering Research Centre of Advanced Powder Technology (ERCAPT) and Executive Head of School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Soochow University. Dr. Wu received Bachelor Degree in Metallurgical Engineering at Central South University (2005), Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Melbourne (2007), and Ph.D (2010) and Postdoctoral research training in Chemical Engineering at Monash University until early 2013 when he joined Soochow University. He is the member of AIChE, Chinese Society of Particuology and Vice Chairman of the Council of Chemical Engineering and Technology Discipline Alliance of Universities in Jiangsu.

Dr. Wu’s R&D interest mainly lies in the field of particle science and engineering, including functional particle micro/nano structure design, manipulation and product development, pharmaceutical powders for pulmonary and intranasal delivery, new spray granulation technology development, etc. He has published over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals and granted 4 US and more than 20 Chinese invention patents. In the last 5 years as PI he has led 6 national and provincial government funded research projects and nearly 20 collaborative projects with industry partners.
