Each one of us has a story, which shapes us and makes us who we are. My artwork uses a variety of techniques to depict the complexity of human beings and what we bring with ourselves throughout life. The theme of "identity" is woven into the artwork where an unknown individual brings his/her ideas, values, faith and culture with themselves. These are all hidden when we first meet someone, which then brings the sub-theme of the artwork "respect". We all must respect each other because we never know what past experiences have shaped that individual.
