This award is given to the student who presents "the most thought-provoking or original paper at the Conference, as judged by our panel of experts". Dinithi presented her work as a part of the highly-selective proceedings track of ISMB/ECCB 2019 (19% acceptance). This conference is the largest and most high profile annual flagship meeting organized by the International Society of Computational Biology (ISCB).
