New Generation Narrative Techniques in Education: Gen-AI-powered Digital Data Storytelling
Digital data storytelling is a very recent concept that has yet to be explored and requires further study in the field of education. Digital data storytelling combines data stories that convey information in visualisations utilising learning analytics with digital storytelling techniques that focus on personal narratives.
Meanwhile, the rapid and inevitable advancement of Gen-AI in education is driving new research. Dr Hatice’s postdoctoral research addresses the use of Gen-AI-powered digital data storytelling in education, aiming to enhance educational experiences by merging data storytelling, learning analytics, and digital storytelling with Gen-AI to develop new techniques for students and educators to gain insights from educational data..
