Project Description:
The aim of this project is to design and evaluate practical quantum-resistant (aka post-quantum) cryptosystems suitable for enhancing security of and providing novel functionalities to a cloud based file sharing system. The outcomes of the project will be applied in novel secure file system products of Senetas.
Project Requirements:
- Strong mathematical and cryptography background is required.
- Knowledge/experience in coding (for example, Python, C/C++, SageMath) is a plus.
- Applicants must be domestic students (Australian citizens, permanent residents, NZ citizens, or holding an Australian visa without any limitation as to time (e.g. visa subclass 189).
- Candidates must have completed (or be about to complete within the next 6 months) a significant research component either as part of their undergraduate (honours) degree or masters degree. They should have excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
