Human Values in Software Repository Artefacts

This project attempts to investigate the presence of human value in software development artefacts. We develop an automated tool to detect the presence of value in issue discussions. Then, a human value dashboard is developed to display the value detected in the artefacts to support software development.

Call for Participation

We are currently inviting software practitioners to evaluate our visioned human value dashboard.  We are currently looking for:

  • software practitioners, such as developers, project managers, testers, etc.
  • have been involved in software development projects
  • familiar or have experience in using software repositories, such as GitHub, GitLab, etc.

The evaluation will be conducted through an online interview session that will take approximately 30 minutes. This project is conducted with ethics approval for project number 21860 from Monash University. Please read the explanatory statement for more details.
