Hi there, I'm BOYAN GUAN, a graduating student of the Bachelor of Architectural Design in 2022.
Throughout my bachelor degree, my projects have focused on ideas of stustainbilty and construction details. Additionally, these projects focus on the the deep connection with the indigenous heritage of the country.
My particular interested in project development process. I have had the opportunity to gain two internships experience alongside completing my degree, on high-rise residental by an experienced and innovative team.'
The Lost Land Found - Beth Gott Garden Platform Proposal
The Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation are the Traditional Owners of the land from the Werribee River to Wilsons Promontory, Victoria, Australia. There is a deep physical and emotional connection between the Boonwurrung people and water. They drink the water, hunt from the water, travel through the water, and live by the water. I have designed a two-level platform on the existing lake for the Beth Gott garden, allowing people to approach and connect to the water and Country. The shape is inspired by the ripple of a drop of water on the surface of the water.
