Arboreal Seed Bank

Welcome to my project: The Arboreal Seed Bank, a diplomatic building focused on the security of food and preservation and cultivation of seeds as the premier seed bank in the Southern Hemisphere.

A view of the interior entrance (Visitors)

Here visitors will be greeted to the cube facade, a interior wall of protruding glass cases, each containing a different seed collected by the bank that wraps around the right-wing of the building educating visitors on the types of seeds that can be found and cultivated around the world.

Inside the Hydroponic Farm

Inside visitors will be able to view and interact with a small Hydroponic farm, able to plant, grow and educate visitors on compact farming as an example on how to grow vegetation in compact and indoors conditions. Beyond that will be the Greenhouse showroom educating on the type of plants and in what climates they can grow in in contrast to show that beginning and point together.

Inside the preperation laboratory showroom

Inside will be the preparation laboratory, sitting in between the cargo bay where packages of seeds are delivered the preparation laboratory will go through the process of prepping the incoming seeds, showing the process to any visitors in the greenhouse showroom before sending the seeds into three places: the Incubation laboratory, the Morphology laboratory and the Biology laboratory before being send straight to the underground bank for storage.

Showroom Biology Laboratory

Taken outside the Biology laboratory people in the Greenhouse showroom will be able to view the live research and development of some of the procured seeds before being sent below.

Inside the Seed bank

Below is the Arboreal Seed bank, the place where all the seeds will be stored after proper processing. Once stored the seed collectors will coordinate with southern hemisphere countries on seeds the bank wishes to collect while also delivering seeds like wheat, bailey, rice or other vegetation to countries that have had disruption to their agriculture process, securing and preserving their food supply as well as the Arboreal seed banks.
