Material research into Mycelium developed into the creation of a series of wall panels where thin sheets of material, structurally optimised by pattern create a shell for mycelium to grow within and perform as a wall with good stability and insulative quality.

Test Lab M is developed as a materials testing site for Mycelium as a building material, fostering every step of the process from growth to practice.
Atmospheric Section
Test Lab M is retrofitted into an existing warehouse on Cambridge street, Collingwood, showcasing how this system can be used for renovation rather than new builds.
Detail Section
The structural system is able to attach and grow to whatever module needed. It is reliant to create this new space, building up and throughout.
