Greetings, I’m Brandon! My life cycles around creativity and escapism. I’m always learning throughout my design and art journey, craving to continue my flame burning bright! My interests investigate animation, character and environmental concept design. Please accept my final works in this degree as a symbol of my time studying at Monash. I look forward to proving more of myself in the unknown future. Thanks and I hope you have a nice life! :)
'Mindful to Nature’s Future - Animation'
Paths is the theme surrounding my designs. It follows the understanding that we all intertwine our fates with the existences around us and decide upon its relevance. My campaign aims to highlight the issues that can and have occurred in our natural environments and promote mindfulness and awareness in hopes it encourages viewers to take whatever simple steps they can to provide for a healthier nature.
This focuses on the social aspect of bringing people together to experience nature as it is right now. It is made to be handed in person however serves the design benefit of also being a postcard. It is printed with recycled stock paper and sustainable ink.
Connection to Nature’s Past - Journal
Having a physically available item to record your experience brings the personal concept in play. This journal gives freedom to write about things memorable when going out into nature, wrapping up the theme of paths and concept of time, activating the notion that a greener future begins with a greener you.
PAX Event Promotion
Print and game inspired outcome featuring a foldable booklet and poster consisting of originally designed characters in PAX relevant spaces.
'Lo-Fi Vibe n' Chill'
This motion-based project encapsulates my interests in environments, escapism and relaxation. Two artworks were animated with the intention to play on digital platforms to aid in studying, work and ‘vibe n chilling’.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
