My campaign Women in STEM aims to alter the connotations of STEM subjects being difficult male-orientated. The campaign consists of a workshop aimed at young women aged 15-18, where they can learn more about STEM subjects that are different from the traditional paper and pen method. Furthermore, I want to demonstrate to young women that STEM subjects are filled with creativity by using a more colourful and illustrative approach in my promotional materials.

I decided to use pastel colours and illustrations for my poster to combat the common use of blue and the lack of graphic elements in the existing STEM posters we see in the media. In addition, a more feminine visual approach to STEM will make the industry seem less intimidating and attract more young women to study STEM subjects.

To demonstrate how the workshops will run, I created a schedule booklet for what one session might look like. All workshops will use the same template but with altered activity and photography.

"To further support my campaign, it was essential to promote it in the media as it will reach our younger audience easier. Therefore, I created a looping social media animation post using the same graphic elements to aid the campaign."
