My campaign, “Bookshare,” was designed with the intention of celebrating books, and the stories that have affected our lives. I wanted to create something that would let people share stories about the books that left deep impressions on them. This particular outcome is a series of posters to promote the movement in public space.

The campaign started with an inquiry on people’s reading habits. Participants were given these packages consisting of an activity booklet and a reading diary. The intention was to learn about people’s reading habits, as well as the books and stories that left deep impressions in their lives. It was from here that I decided to steer the campaign solely towards the books that people loved.

On this whiteboard, people are invited to come up and write about their favourite books. I designed this outcome in the hopes that people would be able to interact each other through the topic of their favourite stories, and to perhaps understand each other in a deeper level as a consequence.

To spread word of the campaign further, I designed an instagram account where stories about people’s favourite books would be published, alongside a custom illustration.

A series of bookmarks were also designed to act both as a useful bookmark, as well as a physical artifact for the campaign. On the backside is a link to the instagram account to encourage people to share their stories to it.
