Qiqian He

I am Qiqian He, a Communication design student. My theme is about 'social fear', a very common phenomenon among teenagers who may have experienced being teased, bullied, rejected, ridiculed or humiliated. These socially fearful teenagers will act as my target audience and what they need is our attention and care, which will be the concet of my work.

Poster of Social Fear

My target audience is teens in school, and we can help young people with social fears. The element I used is a pink heart, which represents caring and loving. The handprints on my concept element.
My primary outcome is "Handprint Wall Poster", which will be hung on the wall of each classroom in the school. Every student in the classroom will be able to put their handprint by using their favourite colour on the poster. Everyone will be asked to participate in this activity, where everyone is part of the family and no one is excluded, caring for everyone.

School Uniform for Social Fear

This uniform supporting outcome is "School Uniform", which is worn by every student in the class and has the same pattern (hearts and handprints), not only for uniformity but also for attention to each child in the class. It makes the teens feel that he or she is not special or excluded.

Social Fear Postcard

My supporting outcome is "Postcard", it has a handprint pattern on it that matches the theme. The young people could express their concern and love for others by writing messages or drawing pictures on the postcards. The postcards were then sent to everyone who took part in this activity at random and they would receive random postcards from others. This helps the teens to learn to care for those in need.
This is the front of the postcard.
