Mujo - the Japanese term means impermanence or transience. Meaning - the journey with Mujo AV will eventually come to an end. The vehicle interior follows the same, it adapts and changes to user needs while the vehicle functions to cater busy and idle ride environments. Being aware of the dynamic environment the vehicles exist in today, Mujo aims to solve the issues such as deadheading (Idle driving) and privacy within ride share options by providing a constantly adapting design both - inside and outside the vehicle. The AV allows for custom seating environment which can offer private and shared seating arrangements on command to promote ride-sharing for users headed in the same directions.
Mujō (Quarter View)
Mujo - an autonomous vehicle concept which is capable of constantly changing and adapting according to your needs.
Impermanent Seating Arrangement
Mujo aims to provide customisable seating environment which can offer both a private and shared setting within the vehicle. A major issue why people opt for whole rides to themselves is 'privacy' and ease of use. This puts more cars on the roads with people heading in the same direction with individual ride bookings. Mujo is a concept which aims to intervene with this pattern of travelling by handing all the power in users hands.

Drop down Doors.
Drop down doors provide easy entry and exit to the vehicle. The main purpose behind the proposed door is to facilitate wheelchair access when required.
Journey UI for Mujo
The vehicle panel interface allows easy navigation which shows your journey, Travel zone + Zone change fees and finally ride-share requests. Once a nearby share request is received, the vehicle notifies the current passengers about the new possible route, added time and reduction in ride cost if the request is accepted.
