The Pot-Plant Environment Sensory Tracker (PEST) is a tool for indoor house plant care. The drone will live on, inside and around a user’s indoor House Plants, using its array of light, temperature, motion, and moisture sensors to monitor and alert users to unfavourable conditions for the plant to stay healthy. The drone is designed to accommodate large and small house plants with its small design and can be calibrated to suit an array of plant species that require specific attention. This drone will help to remind the user to look after their indoor plants and interact with the surrounding environment in an entertaining and unique way.

Inside the Pot

PEST lives inside indoor plant pots, attached to the plant, or dug in the soil.

Creating the alert

The PEST emits a buzzing from its wings to alerting the user of an unfavourable environmental change.

Responding to the Alarm

The alert will stop when the user approaches the plant and fixes the issue.

Accesories

An attachable transmitter module is available for the PEST and allows alarm thresholds to be edited though the user’s smartphone to better cater to different plants.

Communication

If equipped with the transmitter module, multiple drones can coordinate alerts.
