As an aspiring spatial designer, I strive to create spaces that not only provide a pleasant experience for the users but also be thought-provoking and progressive. I want to design spaces that could be also seen as an art piece that can hopefully inspire people to care about social issues that are happening around the world.
F/D Station – The Façade
One of my final-year projects, F/D Station, looks into the elitist culture of fine dining and the social bias around food in this community. Through a performative dining experience, the audience will experience a future where eating is no longer an indulgence, but purely an act for survival. Will that future be a utopia for food or is it just sweeping all the problems of the food industry under the rug?

New Pillars of the West – The Render
For another final-year project of mine, New Pillars of the West, I wanted to honour the legacies of past immigrant women and their efforts of supporting the immigrant community. In this project, a space that is similar to a community centre will be built to help new immigrants settle in this new country, as well as to immortalise these women and their contributions to the western suburbs of Melbourne.
