Mind Your Mind Exhibition

In collaboration with the Monash Centre for Consciousness and Contemplative Studies and Library Services, the Mind Your Mind exhibition aims to educate people on mindfulness in an easy and interactive manner. Throughout this project, I liaised with relevant stakeholders, including M3CS, Library Services, teaching staff, and other students to coordinate the logistics of the exhibition. I also heavily participated in the design and production of the States of Consciousness theme, which aims on giving the opportunity to explore different states of mind and a chance to discover a different side of the individual. Within the theme, I co-created the Dreamscape and Distorted Self installations.

Co-design & Mindsets Card Set

With no definitive process and guidance for co-design, the topic of responsible co-design is the topic I ponder throughout this project. As there is already a focus on the external process, I want to expand on this but also focus on the mindsets one should have when participating in a co-design project. Through research/personal experience, co-design advocates for everyone to be able to express their opinions. However, this may be difficult for some especially when dealing with sensitive topics. This card set design is intended to be given to participants and aims to be user-friendly, explaining co-design and mindsets in short form, and providing an option of aftercare for those in need.

Let's Chat

Informed by insights and findings from design research methods, a concept of community well-being and social recovery in Victoria was formed. Through a cultural probe with 20 participants, insights were gained through their thoughts about the Social Inclusion Priorities of the Australian Government. To follow up on this, questionnaires were distributed to further explore participants' opinions. From this, the Let’s Chat program was born. It aims to inform students from a young age about social issues by introducing them into their curriculum. Stickers from the program will be placed around the municipality and aim to prompt conversation on social issues within the wider community.

K-Wave Mobile Application

K-Wave is a fictional music festival that features K-pop acts. The project required an interactive prototype that would assist users in their pre-festival preparations and streamline the purchasing process. By utilising Material Design guidelines, I was able to create a design in which users could easily be able to make purchases and explore the venue.
