Xiaoyu Chen

Hi, my name is Xiaoyu Chen (Kelly). I come from China and I studied in Australia from 2017. And I started my postgraduate study of interaction design in Monash University from 2021. I finished my undergraduate degree of civil engineering with architecture in University of New South Wales. Therefore, besides UI softwares and skills, I am also very familiar with 3D modelling software. Through four years of undergraduate architectural design and two years of interaction design, I have a very profound understanding of design.

TOURIEST - Travel APP

"TOURIEST" is an App that designed for the tourists or business travellers.

This project is the first independently produced app after I learned interaction design. Its name is TOURIEST. After learning basic UI knowledge, I designed this app. It can solve the problems that travelers must solve on the way, such as hotel reservation, food recommendation, local characteristics and culture, etc. Its purpose is to help strangers adapt to a new city quickly and efficiently, and integrate into it well. The functions provided in the app well meet the needs of these travellers.
