The dining table was originally chosen as the vehicle to express my adoration of hedonism and excess within the LGBTQIA+ community, the plan was to celebrate and essentially write a love letter to it.
However with a diagnosis of gallstones in semester 1 the work changed.
Constructed from hand and machine embroidery, assembled is a physical timeline/collection of thoughts, quotes, memories and imagery of a hedonistic fat butch’s years worth (and more) of health issues and treatment.
