I am a Naarm based multidisciplinary artist interested in the intersection of sculpture, performance and drawing. My ever-expanding sculptural forms speak to ideas around material endurance and object performativity in transitional states. Impermanent and transient materials such as ice, wax and yarn are brought together to explore the relationship between abstraction and figuration. Actions such as folding, wrapping, concealing and adorning are repeated gestures that further abstract extensions of the body. I explore the notion of decay, destruction and temporality by using time as a framework to expand or contract the limits of materiality.
