‘Interconnected Cycles’ is an interactive installation highlighting the dual representation of micro and macro time cycles juxtaposed on interactive acrylic layers at different scales. Laser cut onto the acrylic is, on one side, the silhouettes of a person’s growth from childhood to adulthood, and on the other, a depiction of the cell cycle, illuminated by a pulsing light to link both cycles back to the objective pulse of the human body which fuels them despite their differences.
