While outdoor and indoor programmed spaces occur in between, the intimacy between the walkway and the timber screening remains porous yet harmonious. Boulevard of Screens provides a glass-like ambience to allow human connectivity and deference with nature. The articulation forms established a strong balance of fluidity and transparency, bringing attention to the encapsulation of spaces and social interconnection of individuals.

Perspectival Section
The Boulevard of Screens aims to transform the urban area into a stimulating, thriving neighbourhood, highly focused on walkability, native landscape integration, and promoting community interaction. Cohesive engagement and active involvement with the local community allow tenants to feel a sense of connection and belonging to the community and environment. The interplays amongst these elements celebrate the envisioned natural outlook features that commemorate the innovative and vibrant neighbourhood, seeking to address issues of site eradication and striving to create a more livable and sustainable community.
Ground Floor Plan + Site Plan
The Ground Floor Plan displays how the different types of spaces are organised and placed on the site. The plan greatly focused on the various apartment types, as well as the arrangements of public and social spaces around the site. The motive behind this strategy initially came from the idea of integrating a central courtyard. The enhancement of this plan flourishes radically, taking account of the circulation and fluidity transition across the site.
South Elevation
On Haines Street, the facade showcased a consistent flow of the continuation and repetition of timber cladding. The material for this timber cladding is Blackbutt timber, which comes from a native plant in Australia, providing a deep connection to Country and blending in with the surrounding environment harmoniously.
Along Haines Street
The deliberate use of timber cladding on the facade strategically encourages biophilia and enriches the sense of place and ambience. This integration not only fosters social and cultural interaction within the community but also underscores the significance of designing for sustainability, accentuating the synergy in developing the long-term relevance of the community.
Central Boulevard
Placement of the boulevard in between effectively synchronises the flow of movement from both directions, potentially influencing tenants and users to immerse themselves in the natural environment closer.
Communal Hub
The incorporation of communal spaces enhances the scalability across the site. By integrating these spaces, the community are encouraged to socially interact with each other and open up multiple opportunities for tenants to utilise areas other than their apartments. This not only provides feasibility and versatility for the tenants but also contributes to building a sense of community, civic identity and culture.
