Monash Art, Design and Architecture Graduate Exhibition 2023

Hello! I have a passion for photography, music, and sports. Being an avid traveller, the architecture and culture of the cities I've visited have always inspired me. I aspire to create interesting spaces one day that captivates people and allows for people to engage in meaningful experiences.

Chrysalis

Chrysalis - the pupal stage of butterflies; a transitional stage (in life).
This student housing project is inspired by the concept of seasons. With time, one experiences changes in the year through the nature planted around the spaces, which are centered around the Common Brown Butterfly and the Kangaroo Grass.
'Chrysalis' aligns with the idea of how students experience changes and growth during their university life. This focus on nature and the endemic species adds an ecological connection for the students to the local environment and its seasonal transformations. It aims to create a space beyond just being an accommodation.

Chrysalis

On the ground floor, users are directed around a pathway planed with vegetation to attract biodiversity, such as the Common Brown Butterfly.
