Opera Falls is a space of music, rehabilitation, reflection, community and therapy. Through the celebration of water, the project tantalises sight, sound, touch, and thought in conjunction with the reminiscence of the past and the arrival of more accessible mental health care. Driven by concepts of non-hierarchies, artefact reverence, lightness, idiosyncrasy, and rehabilitation, Opera Falls breaks down barriers between performer and audience; reveres water as a 21st century icon of sustainability, condemning the traditional factory's tendencies of materialism and consumerism; and works to rehabilitate individuals, the community, materials and performance.
