Harmony Works - Clifton Hill Cultural Centre aims to design a community opera house at the site of an under-utilised industrial building in Clifton Hill Melbourne, in order to activate and revitalise the site and neighbourhood and specifically address the past industry heritage under a new context of harmony. The project utilises the various concepts of reflecting to the local context, project activation according to the Gariwerd calendar; blurring boundary divisions and celebrating, as well as conserving the history of the land and architecture. Finally, we pay our respects to the Ancestors and Elders of the land past and present.
