This project is a learning commons proposal for Sunbury Primary. The project firstly links the two seperated zones of the school together, creating a link between the two. The proposal seeks heritage influence, seeking to pay respect to history whilst offering a new chapter to the school. There is a play between heavyness and lightness, between privacy and openess. The key theme of the studio was to seek ways to use waste stream materials into our proposals. My project seeks to do this primarily through the use of upcycled bluestone materials, both in dimension stone and basalt boulders.
