Life is Great is a campaign-based project inspired by a desire for people to seek enjoyment from the smaller, seemingly insignificant aspects of life. From their morning coffee, to a supermarket run, their favourite shirt, any shirt. To find the art and beauty in everyday life.This project aims to encourage individuals to ‘stop and smell the roses’ in a genuine and accessible way that can be achieved by anyone. I wanted to approach this important notion in a different, more contemporary way; one that strays from the traditional, often cheesy and stereotypical portrayals. Life Is Great is a project dependant on the story-telling and sharing from one person to another.

The zine is a culmination of images submitted from users and turned into a creative, artistic and visually insightful piece of work. The aim of Life Is Great is to get people to reposition their perspectives on the everyday nuances of their lives, and help them to understand the beauty and uniqueness of their lives.

These posters are in association with the campaign project Life is Great. They act not only as a way to engage the public with the campaign and attract visibility, but also to act as small reminders to cherish the everyday. With short sentences sent in by audiences turned into visual, typographical posters, the pieces are intended to inspire those passing by.
