Hi! My name is TongSun. I’m a communication designer mainly focus on illustration, brand identity and UI. I have passion for exploring contemporary fashion trends and experimenting with a variety of innovative design styles. I want to design stylish and creative works that bring fun and novelty to people. This funny campaign, 'Let's Talk MBTI,' aims to promote MBTI as a novel form of social interaction. By taking the test and discovering your own MBTI type, it assists in self-awareness and enriches your life.

Design Research Kit

My Design Research Kit introduces the MBTI, a personality test that allows for the summarization of one's personality traits. After taking the MBTI test with DRK, students are required to complete a series of questionnaires about their attitudes towards MBTI, choice of majors and countries. The aim was to understand people's perceptions of MBTI and whether it can be a new method to discover self-awareness, guide professional choices, and increase communication topics.

Prior to designing the campaign, I invited ten students to participate in an interactive questionnaires to collect results. The data collected from DRK revealed that most individuals were enthusiastic about understanding and testing MBTI, viewing it as a way to gain self-awareness and increase communication topics. MBTI is connected to educational mechanisms and upbringing, students' satisfaction with their chosen majors also connect to their personality traits.

Let's Talk MBTI - Poster Series

A series of promotional posters aimed at encouraging more people to take the MBTI test, get help from it and enjoy the fun process. I drew a series of cartoon characters based on collected keywords, the characters' different appearances and actions reflect the different personality traits of each MBTI character, and they ask questions that will arouse curiosity and inquisitiveness to attract people's attention.

Let's Talk MBTI - Identifier Decals

The identifier decals help to increase interest in the MBTI as well as encouraging them to actively participate in testing and exploring their personalities. A series of cartoon characters and their slogans were made into a series of identifier decals to help communicate the concept of MBTI and various personality traits. These decals can be used as a funny eye-catching tool to put on walls for promotional and social activities, as well as on bags and clothing to show off your MBTI and attract interested people to interact with you.
