I aspire for my design works to contribute to the pleasure of others. "HerWheels" is an online car-hailing application that I developed specifically for women. I aspire for this software to transform the car-hailing experience for women from one of anxiety to one that is both delightful and tranquil.
HerWheels-APP Design
This is an online car-hailing app I designed for women, called "HerWheels". I hope this app can make car-hailing a relaxing and enjoyable experience for women, and reduce women's fear of car-hailing.
HerWheels-APP Functions
I have developed a piece of equipment that facilitates the calling of assistance in an emergency by female drivers. In consideration of certain women's requirements, our feature will additionally offer essential items of daily living, including tampons, comforters, and anti-spill containers...... Female passengers occasionally board the bus with their children, and our application provides the convenience of infant chairs upon request. In addition to a one-click call and blackout function, "HerWheel" is designed to provide users with a secure and protected service.
HerWheels-Posters Design
In order to publicize the features of this app can be used by more people, I designed advertising posters. These posters appear on city bus stops and in places that are more dangerous at night, so that women can download this app to get home safely when they feel that it is dangerous to go home. Promoting the brand is also an important step in the design so that more users can recognize the app.
HerWheels-Pillow Design
This is a pillow I designed for female riders, so that when riders use HerWheels, they can see the pillow and get a better impression of the brand. The pillow with the brand's logo on it will also make female users feel warm and happy.
HerWheels-Preliminary Research
This is a survey of female users before the HerWheels app was designed. I designed this app because my best friend told me that she felt scared by the fact that the driver of a car at night is a man, so I designed an envelope survey to ask women around me about the safety of riding in a car. I think the envelope approach will respect the privacy of the user and make the survey an experience for the user.
HerWheels-Research Poster
After the survey, I created a poster by translating the data collected into the form of graphics and illustrations. This allows me to visualize what female users really think, which is helpful for my ideas and thoughts in designing the app.
