Stories Memories

This is a bicycle-based, mobile, interactive, and collectible exhibition activity.
Most people, even when recalling a tangible object, are often affected not in a material sense, but in a spiritual sense. It’s precisely because of this that the object remains unforgettable. This led me to an idea: how to connect tangible items with their spiritual impact. This is the purpose of my campaign - to provide people with an opportunity to draw their significant possessions and tell their stories, encouraging them to recollect important moments.

All In One Face

Having browsed through many of her works, I have a strong sense that although Deborah Halpern creates sculptures, paintings, and ceramics, there is a common theme - she often makes "faces" a significant subject. She frequently assembles various colors and shapes to create creatures with distinctive facial features. This seems to convey a message that everything in the world is interconnected, and they can seamlessly blend together, regardless of their origin. On my first day in Melbourne, I was deeply impressed by the peculiar faces standing by the Yarra River, only to discover that they were also the work of Halpern when I was researching for this project.

Sound Journey of Cherry Lake

Cherry Lake is a popular place for both weekend barbecues and daily walks.
When I drew some of the textures with pen and paper... The traces appear to be random lines of varying lengths. It reminds me of something like Morse code. If they can be turned into music for music boxes, perhaps they can also be used as a method of publicity
So, I turned these traces into music for a music box and displayed them through a QR code, hoping that people can feel a kind of sound from nature when they visit this place.

Emerald Rush
