In this project, Farmers are adopting innovative and eco-friendly techniques such as automation, robotics, and container farming in seawater to combat the damages caused by summer heat waves and droughts. These methods showcase the synergy between humans and technology, extending the lifespan of farms and bolstering the economy.

A view from the Facility

This photograph showcases the facility area that requires the presence of farmers to oversee its maintenance and operation. Notably, the facility emphasizes water storages that holds filtered water after undergoing desalination. This water is then transported into the storage for the purpose of irrigation. The facility also features waste storages that collects all the remaining waste post-desalination. Furthermore, the farming component of the facility is utilized to cultivate crops that are ultimately transported to the shore for harvesting.

Farming container when reaches shore

After reaching the shores, the farming component will open up, allowing the farming frame to move out. This will enable people to harvest the crops that have been grown in the facility. Once the crops are fully harvested, the farming component will transport itself back to the facility for further planting.

The desalination facility

This image showcases a desalination facility that removes salt and impurities from seawater. Desalination can be achieved through distillation or reverse osmosis. In distillation, seawater is heated, evaporated, and then condensed, while reverse osmosis uses a semi-permeable membrane to separate salt and water molecules. Although distillation is energy-intensive, it is suitable for high-salinity water. On the other hand, reverse osmosis is more efficient but requires extensive pre-treatment. In water-scarce regions, desalination is necessary to provide fresh water.

How the farming container work
