Jiarui(Fiona) Liu

Hi there, I’m Fiona, a designer and artist. My interests lie in new products and questioning global social issues that we face in our day to day lives. My ideas begin with day dreaming which then gets taken to Rhino to make my imagination come true.
“Fe-topia” is society for females only. The current Earth society is not safe enough for the majority of people born with a uterus. In the future, people might need to move to the moon. Sleeping, eating and swimming will be a completely different experience there than here. This is just the beginning of my ongoing practice. This aligns with the Urban Planning degree I’m pursuing for my future studies.

Fe-Topia

The whole design enhances the interaction between public and private Spaces. Focus on the physical and mental. Being surrounded by water and floating is like going back to the womb, so it gives people a sense of security and relaxation. It can be said that I built a future dream land for myself. The project is created using Rhino, Blender and Twinmotion. This is just the beginning of my ongoing practice. In the future, it may become a big city. This aligns with the Urban Planning degree I’m pursuing for my future studies.

Approach from a woman's perspective. Create a women-only self-sufficient community on the moon. Create two types of rooms, single and multi-occupancy. Keep work, study, living and communication in the same dynamic line. Enhance the interaction between public and private spaces while maintaining privacy. Focus on the physical and psychological, incorporating emotional and stress relief zones.
