Outstanding Project: Interaction Design

Meditation App

This project is dedicated to the enhancement of the user interface elements within the 'Bad Habit' project. The objective is to redesign and refine the visual elements, elevating the overall aesthetic appeal and visual design quality. I endeavour to create a harmonious and cohesive interface by aligning the application's conceptual framework with its visual elements. By doing so, I aim to provide an intuitive and engaging user experience that resonates with the core aim of the 'Bad Habit' project.

Saudade - A Desk Lamp

Aim:
This project going to be an exploration into the tangible link between physical interaction and the digital world.

The Problem:
As international students, we often find ourselves far from the ones we love.
We sometimes feel lonely and left out.

The Opportunity:
We wanted to use this opportunity to create a product that could bring us closer to our loved ones.

The Challenge:
We approached this project with the idea of providing a way to help extend our reach beyond our screens, and into the physical world. To help us stay connected with our people.

Monash Sync - A Feedback Tool for Designers

Our role is often to receive feedback from our professor, and iterate on our work based on what we receive.

Students aren't developing important evaluative skills due to lack of feedback practice.
Learners don't always know how to take action after being given feedback.
New designers often don't get the opportunity to view alternative design processes.
Due to lack of feedback in the design process: when designers collaborate with other designers, there are often issues with consistency.

Goal:
-Professors want to ensure they are getting their point across
-Students want to make sure they are on the right path
