Beyond Binary: Exploring life beyond data exhibition is a curatorial project that explores the concept of digital immortality and its implications for preserving an individual's persona in perpetuity. The exhibition features work by three artists, each offering a unique perspective on the intersection of art, technology, and identity. Through a series of interactive and digital works, the exhibition examines the ramifications of this concept, inviting visitors to contemplate the essence of our digital existence and the potential consequences of a world where we can live ‘forever’ through our digital footprint.

Platystomata Poisoned is a captivating piece of generative graphics that showcases the unexpected consequences of digital and physical worlds colliding. The work captures the aftermath of a leak that caused foreign substances to infiltrate the digital realm of no.05A35. Through this immersive experience, the audience witnesses the transformation of data and the emergence of complex and intriguing outcomes. This art piece invites viewers to contemplate the potential consequences of the intersection between our digital and physical realities.

Reginald Brooks, RealSurReal... aClone

RealSurReal… aClone is an interactive web work that allows the audience to participate by using a rollover image effect, resulting in a variety of outcomes. The work explores the options, choices, and dilemmas that arise with the digital and genetic revolutions, which will inevitably lead to the commodification of everything from human genomes to plant genomes. The piece invites the audience to join in the cloning process, moving beyond any initial horror or hesitation.

≠ challenges the idea of equality in algorithms and invites users on a journey where chaos gradually takes over. It involves real-time engagement through mobile phones and argues that mathematical equations cannot represent the world accurately. The piece blurs the lines between physical and virtual space, creating a sense of disorder.
