Miracle Mak is an artist who grew up in Australia and Hong Kong. Her identity has led to multimedia works that explore various translations of human relationships and emotions. She is interested in the private/public spaces of vulnerability, and learning how to “open up” to the audience. Revealing fragments of her inner dialogue through the process of performance, moving images and text-based work. She has always found herself struggling with words themselves, which leads her to doubt using text as her main component. However when she feels something deeply, she has the urge to keep on writing, and suddenly the fear of choosing the right words disappears.
