Spolia captures fragments of history that endure in the present, revealing hidden stories through patterns and details. Often overlooked, these remnants connect us to the past. Memory is shaped not just by sight but by scents and textures the faint smell of cigarettes and the roughness of aged bricks that transport us to another time. More than reused materials, Spolia preserves the essence of what it once was, inviting us to explore hidden stories. Each piece holds layered meanings, reminding us that every fragment tells a story.

Memory is influenced not just by what we see, but also by the scents and
sensations of a place. The faint smell of cigarettes in the air, the rough
texture of aged bricks, and the unique forms of architectural fragments
lingers in our minds, creating a vivid memory of a building These sensory
experiences, when combined with the physical traces, create a map
that links us to a certain time and location, making the past tangible in the
present.
