Our Stone Hub: A community centre located in Glen Waverley, where its origin story comes from within site. The site is situated on Red Bluff Sandstone, which forms the inspiration behind it all, hence ‘Our Stone Hub’. Based off different types of weathering in sandstone, forms arise from the ground to shape the way you move through a space. Greeted by natures textures, through stone and garden courtyards. Materiality of the build is inspired by the composition of Red Bluff Sandstone, where all the walls are Rammed Earth.
