Outstanding Project: User Experience Design
The Future of Way Finding - PTV (Screens Design)
The "vision" campaign introduces an innovative design enhancement for Public Transport Victoria (PTV), focusing on improved way finding and real-time disruption information. By embedding augmented reality (AR) into the existing PTV app, "vision" transforms typical way finding into a dynamic, user - centered experience that bridges information gaps and enhances navigational clarity.
This artwork features promotional posters for the "vision" campaign, showcasing the main graphic element—circular shape that different coloured represents different public transport in Victoria. And both design are designed to align with PTV’s branding, creating a cohesive and consistent design as launching new feature in PTV app.
Hungry Hub - New Innovation of Food Delivery App
HungryHub is a user-centered food delivery app concept designed to simplify navigation and enhance the user experience. Through UX research focused on food delivery apps, particularly Uber Eats, I identified that many platforms prioritise persuasive design for upselling, resulting in complex, less user-friendly interfaces. HungryHub tackles these challenges with a streamlined layout and an innovative application of color psychology—using warm tones to stimulate appetite and cool tones to create balance. Let HungryHub’s design engage your senses, making food selection both intuitive and enjoyable.
Visualizations of South Melbourne: A Sensory Exploration
This artwork embodies South Melbourne’s essence through animated mixed media, reflecting its vibrant diversity and shifting moods. Inspired by Grimm’s Sleeping Beauty, it narrates the transition from lively daytime to serene nighttime, highlighting connections between people, food, and culture, with my silhouette portrait as a tour guide inviting exploration of the story.
This project involves collecting primary data on the effectiveness of Victoria's PTV way finding system through a Design Research Kit. Engaging respondents from diverse background by creating a kit file and an interactive installation at Monash University Caufield's Building G, featuring open question poster and some elements to raise awareness of way finding.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
