The primary project on my page is a social campaign addressing misogyny in Australia and, more broadly, extremist views in today’s world. The campaign’s main feature is the crudely named "Misog-o-meter," a scanning device and system that detects misogynistic views and then labels the user accordingly. This direct, accusatory approach is used throughout the campaign to spark dialogue, encourage self-reflection, and occasionally provoke an inflammatory response.

Misogyny United, Misog-o-meter
Bluntly titled the "Misog-o-meter," this is the primary outcome of my campaign addressing misogyny in Australia and, more broadly, extremist views in today’s world. The Misog-o-meter is a scanning device and system designed to indicate whether someone holds misogynistic views. This indiscriminate, accusatory approach is used throughout the campaign to encourage self-reflection and, at times, provoke an inflammatory response.
Misogyny United, Poster Series
With accusatory headlines, a new tone of voice communicates directly with each audience member. Bold typography reinforces the strong accusations, while an "Australiana" inspired colour palette draws the attention of the target audience.
Taking a somewhat extremist approach to communication and messaging through blind accusations produces a level of contradiction to the campaigns purpose. This "fighting fire with fire" strategy draws further attention to the project. The title "Misogyny United" is itself a play on the famous club Manchester United, sparking recognition and making the messaging more memorable and impactful.
Misogyny United, Website
The final destination of the campaign. Centre of reasoning, resources and education for both supporters and those needing a better understanding. Satire and accusations tone down as the campaign looks to educate rather than attract.
Misogyny United, T-shirt Set
A wearable extension of the poster series and with the attitude of the Misog-o-meter, the t-shirt set extends the accusations to new areas and more sets of eyes.
Predilection, Identity
Brand identity for the exhibition of David Moore explores the renowned photojournalist's upbringing, career and work to inform an identity that supports and carries his work into a modern setting.
Bushtracks, Brand Guidelines
Taking on Bush Heritage Australia's quarterly magazine, "Bushtracks". I endeavoured to not only redesign but reposition the publication to open up new avenues of support for the not-for-profit organisation. An art-directed approach to a once straight edged magazine changed it's look, perception and feeling for a new era of Bushtracks and Bush Heritage Australia.
In the spirit of reconciliation Monash University acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
