I’m Stephanie, a Melbourne-based communication designer with a strong focus on graphic image-making and typography, shaped by my background in illustration and pattern making/sewing. In my design practice, I often take a tactile approach using knowledge of design theory to carefully construct visual hierarchy through different mediums. I take the time to balance client objectives with creative decision-making. Passionate about branding and creative campaigns, I’m always eager to take on challenges that enable me to develop my skills. I like to think of design as more than just visual; it is something that surrounds me as I look for inspiration and influence in every space I occupy.

Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC)

A detailed collection of branding guidelines to help maintain the Australian Youth Climate Coalition’s (AYCC) new identity. The aim is to expand the organisation’s reach whilst remaining in touch with the current audience. This new fresh identity helps to cement the AYCC’s position as a recognisable force in the climate movement, while simultaneously maintaining its youthful appearance. Deliverables include microsite, social media templates, posters and stickers.

The Apolitical Manifesto

The Apolitical Manifesto campaign calls on young Australians to rethink political apathy and acknowledge their power to shape the nation’s future. Through unexpected contradictions and stark visuals, this manifesto highlights the reality that politics affects everyone—from HECS debt to climate action and economic security. By challenging “apolitical” perspectives, this campaign aims to inspire active engagement and cultivate a generation ready to make informed decisions. Politics is personal—now it’s time to make it intentional.

Melbourne Cinèmathéque 2024

The campaign created here draws inspiration from vintage ticket stubs and analog film negatives. With a minimalist design echoing the festival’s 35mm film showcase, this identity bridges cinematic nostalgia with a fresh, modern touch. The design invites younger audiences to discover the heritage of analog film while enticing seasoned cinema lovers, blending past and present to honor the enduring craft of classic film production.

Between Lines: Gordon Andrews

It is close to impossible to place Gordon Andrews in a box, which is exactly why he deserved an entire exhibition dedicated to him. This multi-disciplinary designer was most famously responsible for Australia’s first decimal currency system. The exhibition included a wayfinding system, vertical banners, digital screens, micosite and invite that doubles as a poster.

Period. the Game

This card game aims to educate childeren as young as eight years old about the signs, symptoms, treatment and cycle of periods. Period stigma exists due to a lack of understanding around the topic, cultural norms, and societal socialisation patterns. The key to eradicating this is through education, so by making it into an interactive and colourful game, younger generation will be more willing to play and learn.
