The Struggle of Poor posture

Patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic
conditions often suffer from poor posture, which can lead
to increased physical discomfort and prolonged recovery
times.

Hear their Voices: Patients Pain points and needs

Through interviews and user feedback, we gathered
insights into the pain points of patients dealing with
prolonged recovery. The need for a portable, comfortable
solution that can be used independently became a key
driver for the design of FlexuraSense.

The Design Journey

Inspired by the needs of those with chronic conditions,
FlexuraSense evolved through multiple design iterations.
Each stage used user feedback and technological
advancements to create a solution that addresses both
comfort and emotional well-being.

Prototype Exploration: From Paper to Plastic

Starting with paper models to test initial concepts, the
design evolved through 3D-printed prototypes using
materials like rubber and elastic fabrics. These iterations
allowed for testing adjustability, comfort, and
functionality.

Heart of Technology: Making Care Smarter

FlexuraSense integrates advanced sensor technology to
monitor posture in real time, providing immediate
feedback to patients. This innovation not only enhances
recovery but also empowers patients to take control of
their well-being.

Vision for the Future: Making Recovery Easier

FlexuraSense aims to reshape the way we approach
recovery, focusing on both physical and psychological
support. Its modular, flexible design provides long-term
benefits for patients, ensuring comfort and independence
throughout their rehabilitation journey.
