Margarita Sierralta Berezina

My practice is a personal reflection on my place in the world as a Russian-Peruvian woman living in Australia. The oil on wood paintings draw from taken photographs of my home countries, transforming them into vivid, nostalgic spaces. Interested in the way that colour and texture trigger memory, "Heights" is a series that explores my identity through architectural and spatial relationships.
